To attend the EJS Project Teen Center, please complete our Enrollment Packet and Code of Conduct Agreement. Applications for programs (Purpose Pays and the Young Legislators Program) are included below.

Enrollment Packet

Parents or guardians must give permission for their child to attend the EJS Project Teen Center. If you would like to enroll your teen, please download and complete this form.

The Code of Conduct Agreement lists expectations and responsibilities to guide participant behavior and create a safe and inclusive environment at EJS. Parents/guardians should promote cooperation and agreement between the home and EJS in an attempt to develop citizenship and high standards of behavior in our students.

Application for Purpose Pays

Our Purpose Pays program is demonstrating the value and virtue of meaningful employment. Internships in our Delray Beach community provide examples of how students can have an impact on their city and introduce them to local role models. Thaika Promaphile’s experience at the Achievement Centers for Children & Families under Michael Gulley, chief operating officer, gave her the perspective our funder, Eric Aquino at Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, values most—confidence in a bright future.

Application for Young Legislators Program

We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2021 EJS Project Florida Young Legislators Program through The Office of State Representative Mike Caruso. EJS Project seeks bright, self-motivated, energetic high schoolers to serve as Young Legislator. The Young Legislator program gives students the opportunity to learn the inner workings of state government and the legislative process. The Young Legislators members will meet on a regular basis to discuss issues important to their communities, share ideas on youth-related issues, and explore the possibilities of a career in public service. This program presents a hands-on opportunity to current and incoming high school seniors residing in the Palm Beach County area to learn about and experience the legislative process.
