Project Hub
“Rather than standing or speaking for children, we need to stand with children speaking for themselves.”
— Sandra Meucci
Project Hub, our safe after school space, offers regular office hours on weekdays from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Enrolled students across Palm Beach County can drop in to hang out, complete homework, and access Wi-Fi and technology, fostering a high-touch, relationship-focused approach to service.
Goals
- Our drop-in services ensure students receive mentoring, academic support and peer support when they need it most. This supports a high touch relational approach to service provision.
- Provide students with opportunities to learn new skills in a supportive environment.

Summer Programming
The EJS Project offers free summer programming to enrolled students. Our main goals during summer programming are to prevent summer learning loss, keep our students engaged over the summer, have students leave summer with a newly acquired skill and provide a fun summer experience for students across Palm Beach County. During the summer, we are open from 9 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday and provide free breakfast, lunch, and snacks for participating students. We host activities to keep students active, participate in community service projects and events, host tutoring sessions every Monday, and wrap up each week with a field trip on Thursdays!
