E1T1 (Each One, Teach One)
“Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction.”
— John Crosby
Enrolled students participate in individual and group mentoring every week throughout the year. GPAs, attendance, and involvement in out-of- school activities are monitored. The tutoring program supports students with one-on-one support that focuses on coursework and exam prep as well as social activities planned for engagement.
The Mental Health Program of E1T1 has grown significantly since last year. Now we host monthly mental health sessions with Darrius Murray from ReAbleU. Students are introduced to mental health topics in a non-threatening way, resulting in heightened emotional intelligence in our students through free group and one-on-one therapy sessions.
