What We Do

What We Do

The EJS Project acknowledges systemic disadvantages and the barriers it has created in our community. EJS is dedicated to teaching truth, challenging systems, and fighting for its youth’s access to opportunities.

Our Programs

At the EJS Project we believe if we focus on our youth’s strengths we can empower them to write their own narrative. We believe our teen’s deserve equity of opportunity and that strong supportive relationships promote change in individuals, organizations and systems. The EJS Project acknowledges racial discrimination and the barriers it has created in communities of color. We are dedicated to teaching truth, challenging systems, and fighting for our youth’s access to opportunity. It is our aim to surround our youth with as many positive and forward thinking adults as possible.

"Together we can do extraordinary things."

Teen Career Day

Purpose Pays > Teen Career Readiness

On October 14th 2023, the EJS Project brought back the Teen Career Day here in Delray Beach! Members from our South Florida Community came together to pour into our EJS Teens through participating in a panel discussion, breakout rooms with panelists, guest speaker presentations during a lovely lunch period, breakout activities where students got to practice the skills they were learning throughout the day, mock interviews being done by professionals in the field, and FREE professional headshots provided for every single student who attended. We are happy to say that 41 students were able to attend this FREE event and we look forward to hosting more events like these that help our teens prepare for the workforce.
