On January 14th, we hosted our kickoff event for the Teen Career Readiness Program called the Manifestation Board Event. The purpose of this event was to start off a new year and new program by motivating our students to think about their goals and visions. During this event students heard from three amazing guest speakers as their shared their stories and connected with our students:
- Ralph Campbell: PRESIDENT, LEARNING OPTIMIZED CERTIFIED MASTER COACH, SPEAKER, WRITER, WORKSHOP FACILITATOR, CORPORATE TRAINER
- Luwinzie Wilson: FLORIDA AGRICULTURAL & MECHANICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENT & EJS ALUMNI
- Corey Sturkey: Keynote speaker, brand creator, international barber educator
The event ended with students creating their vision boards by using magazines, books & creative supplies to best represent their goals and dreams. We had a total of 22 students attend this event and go into the new year with a clear vision on what they want to accomplish.
