Led by EJS Student Rodney ‘Nino’ Brown, the inaugural Stay Clean: Teen Hygiene 101 event was hosted by the EJS Project. Rodney identified hygiene as a prevalent issue among his peers both at school and within the EJS community. Collaborating with the EJS staff, he initiated an educational event focused on imparting comprehensive hygiene knowledge to students. Rodney was supported by Daniel Studdard, a Behavioral Therapist, and Daniela Quinn, a Delray Beach Police Lieutenant, as they engaged with our students on the importance of hygiene. Each student had the opportunity to receive a complimentary hygiene kit containing all the essential items for maintaining personal cleanliness.
